GlitzLash Extensions

Ever feel like you’ve been cheated out of full, beautiful, lush lashes? Like God forgot to sprinkle the lash grower on your eyeballs and gave it all to Kim Kardashian? Fret not, for we have the solution to beautify your sight lines and give you the sexiest wink you’ve ever had! The GlitzLash Extensions are ideal for special occasions or every day wear. They are precisely attached to blinkers, strand-by-strand in a meticulous process. Each lash is curved to resemble a natural eyelash and accentuate curl. The end result is longer, volumous lashes and a particularly impressive bat of the eye! These lovely lashes last up 2-3 months with on-going touch-ups every 2-3 weeks.  A new set is recommended every few months due to the natural “growth gap” in-between the extensions and the base of the natural lashes (the new re-growth). We pride ourselves on using the best quality products and only medical grade adhesives that are safe for the eyes.

We do not work on other salons’ lash extension as we can only guarantee our work and products used.  If you would like for The Wax Lounge to do your lash extensions, we'll need to remove the existing extensions  or lashes you currently have from a different salon and start fresh.  There is an extra charge to remove the old lashes, so please be aware of this.  We're sorry, but we cannot make any exceptions on this policy. 

Touch-ups will vary from individual to individual and lash extension loss will depend on a few factors: 

• Your natural eyelash cycle
• How well you take care of your extensions, follow the aftercare instructions, & use aftercare products
• Not wearing ordinary mascara only recommended mascara for lash extensions
• The amount of natural oils on your skin that may sit on your lids and rub off on the extensions
• How much the extensions are exposed to steam/water
• If you rub or pull your lashes
• Your sleeping positions
• If you touch your extensions with your hands/fingers and rub natural oils from your hands onto the extensions

Normal, average weekly loss is 15-20% per week.  Touch-ups are recommended every 2-3 weeks and you must have at least 50% of your original full set left for it to qualify as a "touch-up" cost.  Otherwise, if more lashes are missing or it's been over 3 weeks since your last touch-up or initial full set application, you will be charged for a full set and we may need to reschedule you to accommodate the time needed for your service. 

Eyelash extension results will vary depending on:

• Natural eye shape
• Natural lash quantity *You must have existing lashes to apply an extensions.  These cannot be glued to the skin.
• Lash density *A customized look will be created depending on how much your own natural lashes can carry as we are very careful about the integrity of your own lashes.
• Natural lash curvature *How curly or not are your own lashes?
• Natural growth pattern *Do your lashes grow straight, sideways, up or down, etc.?
• Natural lash line *How many pre-existing rows of lashes do you naturally have?  How many lash extensions can we actually apply?
• Lash extension style/look
• Lash extension length & width *Lash types available in: B Curl (slight curl), C Curl (dramatic curl), and D Curl (glamour curl), from 8 mm-16mm in length, and 0.1-0.25 in thickness.

 PROFESSIONAL EYELASH EXTENSION REMOVAL $55

If you’ve had an improper eyelash extension application somewhere other than Wax Lounge, or simply wish to remove your extensions, professional removal is required.  Please do not attempt to remove them yourself as this will cause premature pulling out of your natural lashes.  We use a special solution to break down the bond and safely remove your extensions.

BABY DOLL BOTTOM LIDS LASH EXTENSIONS: APPROXIMATELY 10 LASHES PER EYE

Apply a few lash extensions to the bottom lids for a pretty, baby-doll effect.  Will really open up the eyes nicely and give you the eyes a finished look.

Available now exclusively at The Wax Lounge!  The same glamorous lashes once available only to celebrities are now available to you.  Mink Eyelashes are 100% natural mink made from individually selected mink fur hairs that have been harvested by gently brushing live animals.  Our mink lashes are hand-made.  They are not chemically treated or dyed; the rich, velvet-like appearance found only in mink fur is successfully maintained.  We take pride in knowing we carry only the highest quality mink lashes. Mink Lashes are not the same as the semi-permanent, individual eyelash extensions also featured at The Wax Lounge, they are strip lashes and may be worn up to 25 times when properly stored and cared for.  Unlike semi-permanent, eyelash extensions that must be applied by a trained and certified specialist, Mink Eyelashes can be quickly and easily self-applied.  Included with your very own pair of Mink Eyelashes your custom fitting, initial application, self-application and care instructions, adhesive and storage container. Mink Fur Eyelashes should be treated with care.  Just as you would not bathe or sleep in a mink coat, the Mink Eyelashes should not come into contact with water and should be removed, cleaned from all residual bond and stored safely before going to sleep.
